Joseph Griffin II is a multi-faceted actor driven by his passion for truthful storytelling and a desire to create positive change in the world around him. He is classically trained trained in the contemporary, and musical theater genres, and has a background in film and theatre.

He’s a recent graduate from Howard University, where he graduated with a BFA in Musical Theatre and a minor in Spanish in May 2025. He’s been featured in productions like Heathers, the 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, and most recently understudied in Woolly Mammoth Theatre’s production of Dance Like There Are Black People Watching. In his free time, he sings and has a passion for linguistics and poetry.
